A lot of different elements factor in when a patron asks for a tattoo design. First, you want to like the idea the person has for their tattoo. Even when it's just an idea and not something concrete, you should still remember to be open-minded. You never know what type of juxtaposition of images might create a really awesome tattoo. Second, the person who commissioned the work is probably looking for something related to their personality. The image or symbols they want incorporated into the tattoo should suggest something about them without making too overt a commitment. Below are some more pictures of the finished design.
